The 7:00 p.m. curfew put in place in Asbury Park in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy has been lifted, according to the Facebook page of Mayor Ed Johnson.
Johnson stated the following:
Good Afternoon! The curfew in Asbury Park has been officially ended. A significant portion of the City now has power. We ask all residents for their continued cooperation and goodwill as we work to restore power to remaining areas. PLEASE NOTE: There may be some changes to voting poll locations due to electrical problems. Stay tuned for detailed info. We are making it through one of the greatest challenges we have ever faced. Thank you for your help!
