Wave goodbye to winter at Spring Bazaar
Anchor's Bend will host fiesta, Move for Hunger to collect donations
Boardwalk vendors and local artisans will shake off the cold and welcome spring at a Spring Bazaar held Saturday, May 3 in the Grand Arcade, according to a release from event organizers.
The Spring Bazaar is a vendor’s market made up of local artisans and crafters selling vintage, handmade items, art, jewelry, home goods and more. The bazaar takes place from noon to 5 p.m.
In conjunction with the Bazaar, The Anchor’s Bend will host a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta with food, drinks, and live music by Ocean Grove band Los Pocos Locos.
Move for Hunger, the featured charity, will be collecting canned goods and donations throughout the event.
The Grand Arcade, located at 1300 Ocean Ave, is the breezeway between Convention Hall and the Paramount Theatre that provides passage between the northern and southern ends of the boardwalk [shown above, at left.] Access to the Arcade can be gained through the northern entry doors or the southern Paramount Theatre entrance as boardwalk reconstruction wraps up.
Free parking is available in three waterfront lots at Fourth and Ocean avenues, Second and Ocean avenues, and near the intersection of Asbury and Cookman avenues next to the Carousel house. On-street parking is available for a fee.

[A previous version of this article incorrectly identified the event as the Third Annual Spring Bazaar. It is the third bazaar, following two previous bazaars held in the Grand Arcade in the fall and winter. The Sun regrets this error.]
