22-year-old female shot in Neptune
Woman was taken to hospital, is in critical condition

A 22-year old woman was shot in the 1800 block of Bangs Avenue, along the Asbury Park-Neptune border, early this morning.
Neptune Police received a 911 call at approximately 4:28 a.m. alerting them someone was shot at 1827 Bangs Ave., according to a statement from Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office [MCPO].
The victim, a 22-year-old female, was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
The email did not identify the woman and did not include information about suspects or arrests related to the incident.
