Editor, the Asbury Park Sun:

Through our involvement in civic and social activities in Asbury Park for the last 10 years, we have met and respect many of our community leaders. During this time we have known several Council members some of which have moved on, some of which are still on the Council. Jim Bruno, Kate Malina and Ed Johnson have been outstanding public servants.

This year after reviewing the over 20 candidates we have decided to support four individuals we personally know Sue Henderson, John Loffredo, Will Potter and Amy Quinn. We believe these individuals can provide exemplary leadership and continue to move our city in the right direction.— Gary and Charlie Maffei, Asbury Park
