Two men were shot on Saturday night in the area of Monroe and Ridge avenues, said Charles Webster, public information officer for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Asbury Park Police Department at about 11:20 p.m. on May 11 received a report of shots fired in that area, Webster said. They responded to find two males, ages 19 and 27, who were injured, he said.
The men were treated at Jersey Shore University Medical Center for minor injuries and have since been released, Webster said.
