Dems will hold fundraiser for West Side Community Center
'A safe haven for our youth and it needs our help right now'
The West Side Community Center will be the beneficiary of a cocktail fundraiser sponsored by the Asbury Park Democratic Executive Committee next month.
The event will be held at Watermark on the boardwalk at 800 Ocean Avenue on Monday, June 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a news release from Asbury Park Democratic Chairman Giuseppe “Joe” Grillo [above].
“The Asbury Democrats are more than just a political organization. Our mission is to do whatever we can to better our entire community,” said Grillo. “The West Side Community Center is a safe haven for our youth and it needs our help right now.”
“The AP Dems are committed to supporting our community and developing relationships that will move our city into a positive direction,” said Democratic Vice-Chairwoman Talesha Crank. “The fundraiser for the WSCC is a reflection of our dedication to our community and its success.”
Information on guest speakers will be forthcoming, the release stated. General Admission is $35 per person, and sponsorships of $100, $250 and $500 are available.
