A 28 year old man was taken to a local hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound early this morning in Asbury Park, according to Charles Webster, Public Information Officer for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Asbury Park Police Department had received multiple 911 calls at 2:51 a.m. reporting a man shot at Asbury Park Village, Atkins Avenue, Webster said.
