Bamboozle stage takes shape
With event two days away, waterfront festival area is hub of activity
With two days to go until the Bamboozle music festival commences on the Asbury Park waterfront, the event area is a hub of activity.
Workers were on the scene early this morning finalizing the construction of the Bamboozle main stage, shown above, which straddles the boardwalk just south of the Asbury Towers senior citizen high rise.
Dozens of portable toilets were being unloaded from flatbeds around Bradley Park, while concession booths were set up in the festival area, which mostly spans the area north of Convention Hall on the waterfront, as well as Bradley Park in front of Convention Hall.
Festival organizer LiveNation estimates 90,000 people will attend Bamboozle during the course of the three-day event Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Approximately 20,000 are expected on Friday, 40,000 on Saturday and 30,000 on Sunday, LiveNation representatives have said.
