Asbury Fresh local artisan market kicks off this Sunday
Public is invited to meet and greet 2014 vendors Wednesday at Yacht Club
Sunday, June 22, marks the beginning of the Asbury Fresh Kennedy Park Market’s third season.
Asbury Fresh features fresh, local produce, baked good, and handmade crafts from over 30 vendors.
The seasonal artisan market will be held on Sundays through September from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m in Kennedy Park [on the corner of Cookman and Grand Avenues]. Markets are held rain or shine.
Co-Managers Bret Morgan and Michelle Zarella “have been amazed at the increased interest for this season’s market and are excited to build on the explosive growth this grassroots community has seen over the past few years,” according to a recent news release.
Morgan and Zarella will host a kickoff mixer Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Asbury Park Yacht Club. The free event brings some of the season’s vendors out to meet and chat with members of the public. Click here to RSVP.
The Asbury Park Yacht Club is located within the Second Avenue Pavilion at 1000 Ocean Avenue.
