Asbury restaurant owner Marilyn Schlossbach gives birth to twins
Asbury Park restaurateur Marilyn Schlossbach and her husband Scott Szegeski are now the parents of twin girls.
Schlossbach, 45, gave birth early this morning to sisters Hari at 1:23 a.m. and Rubi twenty minutes later, according to a post on the Facebook page of her brother Richard Schlossbach.
The new parents [shown at right], along with Richard Schlossbach, are partners in Asbury restaurants Langosta Lounge, Dauphin Grille, Trinity and the Pope and Pop’s Garage. In addition, they own a Pop’s Garage in Shrewsbury. Marilyn Schlossbach also owns and operates the Labrador Lounge in Normandy Beach.
Marilyn and Richard opened their first Jersey Shore restaurant called Oshin on the Shark River in Avon in 1985. [Marilyn Schlossbach was 18 at the time.] Richard then opened restaurants in Manhattan, while Marilyn continued to do so here. Richard returned in 2005 to run restaurants with his sister and brother-in-law in Asbury Park.
The twins are the first children for Schlossbach and Szegeski.
