Asbury Park homeowners will host a citywide yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Everyone signed up to host a yard sale has agreed to donate at least 10 percent of their gross sales to local animal rescues Rescue Ridge or Wag On Inn, according to sale organizer Sonja O’Brien.

During the sale, anyone who wishes to drop off donations of pet carriers, toys, food and leashes, or who would like to make a cash or check donation to Wag On In or Rescue Ridge may do so at 1104 Fifth Ave.

To date, over 40 homes have signed up to participate in the sale, she said.

The yard sale will be held rain or shine.
