Vounteers sought for lake cleanup this Saturday
Commission seeks to remove debris from both Deal and Sunset lakes
The Deal Lake Commission [DLC] is looking for volunteers to help clean Deal Lake on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The end of summer cleanup will begin at 9 a.m. at the Asbury Park boat ramp, located on Seventh Avenue across from the 7-11 store.
It is suggested volunteers bring gloves, wear old clothes, shoes, boots, or waders and dress for the weather that day since the cleanup takes place rain or shine. The commission will provide bags.
A Sunset Lake cleanup will also be conducted that day, as the smaller lake feeds into Deal lake.
