Below is the Allenhurst police blotter from October 7 through October 19. The information is edited to meet Associated Press Stylebook standards but is published otherwise unedited from the Allenhurst Police Department:
OCT 7
• After stopping a 42-year-old Asbury Park woman for a motor vehicle violation, she was charged with driving while unlicensed [never having a license] and driving an unregistered vehicle. She was processed and released on summonses. Patrolman Scott Rapolla was the investigating officer.
OCT 10
• Police took a report of a dispute between roomates, at a Main Street apartment. Since the report involved no confirmed criminal violations, the reporting party was given information on how to remedy the situation through civil litigation. Patrolman Wray Burritt and Capt. Michael Schneider were the investigating officers.
• Police took a report of a stolen bicycle, which was last seen around Labor Day, from an unlocked garage. The information on the bicycle was entered into the NCIC database. Special Officer Whitney Molinelli was the investigating officer.
OCT 12
• After receiving information about a missing/suicidal subject out of Ocean Township, officers located the subject at the Allenhurst beachfront. The subject was turned over to Ocean Township police officers, who transported the subject to a local hospital.Patrolman Marc Eustace was the investigating officer.
• After stopping a 28-year-old Asbury Park man for a motor vehicle violation, police arrested his 41-year-old Neptune Township friend, when he came to the scene of the stop. It was discovered the friend was a wanted person out of Middlesex County Superior Court. He was taken into custody without incident, and was turned over to Middlesex County Sherriff’s officers. The driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while unlicensed [never having a license] and driving while suspended. Eustace was the arresting officer.
OCT 13
• Police charged a 21-year-old Long Branch woman with driving while unlicensed [never having a license] driving while suspended, and maintenance of lamps, after stopping her vehicle for having a headlight out. She was released on summonses and the vehicle was turned over to someone with a proper license. Rapolla was the arresting officer.
• Police are investigating a report of an attempted fraud, via the internet, that was directed toward one of the residents. The matter is currently under investigation by Schneider and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
OCT 16
• After showing up late in municipal court for sentencing, police arrested a 51-year-old New Brunswick man on the contempt of court charge. He posted the $1,000 bail amount and was released with a new court date. Schneider was the arresting officer.
OCT 17
• Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Spier Avenue that involved no injuries. A report was taken by Schneider.
OCT 18
• During the early morning hours, police found an intoxicated female walking on Norwood Avenue. The woman reported she had been the victim of a sexual assault, earlier in the evening, in Long Branch. Officers contacted Long Branch police, who sent an officer to the scene. The woman was transported to a local hospital by the Allenhurst First Aid Squad. Patrolman David Lipari and Rapolla were the investigating officers.
OCT 19
• During the early morning hours, officers responded to Hume Street for a report of suspicious persons. Upon arrival, officer found no one in the area at all. Rapolla was the investigating officer.
• After stopping a 25-year-old Asbury Park man on a motor vehicle stop, he was subsequently arrested on an active warrant, out of Wall Twp. He was processed and released, after posting full cash bail. Molinelli was the arresting officer and was assisted by Eustace.

Between Oct. 4, and Oct. 18, police responded to five residential and commercial alarm calls. Also during this same time period, officers arrested eight other individuals on various contempt of court warrants, of which two were transported to the Monmouth County Jail, in default of bail. The Allenhurst Police Dept also had three instances of assisting another agency during this time period.
