City parking subcommittee seeks public input
Open session scheduled for first Tuesday in December
If you have an opionion you’d like to voice about the status of parking in the City by the Sea, the Asbury Park Parking Advisory Committee would like to hear it.
On Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. the advisory committee will host an open public session in City Council Chambers where they will gather public input on the state of parking within the City and give the public a chance to learn about the ongoing work of the city’s parking consultants, according to a city news release.
Representatives from Desman Associates, professional parking consultants retained by the city, will update residents on their study findings so far. In addition, they will discuss future parking opportunities and challenges within the city and offer insights on the parking industry’s latest and best practices for the operations and management of municipal parking systems, the release stated.
The public is encouraged come out and share thoughts and observations.
