The Deal Lake Commission has announced its spring clean-up event.
The clearing of logs, debris and trash will begin 9 a.m. March 28 at the Asbury Boat ramp, officials said.
Participants are asked to wear older clothing and shoes and bring along their work gloves. There will be some work gloves available if you don’t have them.
Boat owners are encouraged to use their watercraft to clear debris and trash along the shoreline but are asked to wear safety jackets.
The Deal Lake Commission’s next meeting is 7 p.m. March 19 at the Interlaken Town Hall, 100 Grassmere Ave. They can be reached at (732) 531-7405.
