Christie kicks off presidential campaign at Convention Hall
Tickets for Aug 4 event start at $250
Gov. Chris Christie will launch his 2016 ‘Telling it Like it Is’ presidential campaign with a fundraiser in Asbury Park, according to the Wall Street Journal.
To date, Christie is one of 15 candidates vying for the Republican Presidential nomination.
The second-term Governor will return to Convention Hall Aug. 4 for his kickoff celebration.
Christie celebrated his second term win at Convention Hall and hosted President Barack Obama’s May 2013 visit after Superstorm Sandy.
Reception tickets for the fundraiser are $250 per person but a $2,700 per person or $5,400 per couple founding member ticket ensures a photo, according to the invitation.
The over 40-member event host committee includes real-estate developers, business executives, lobbyists and several elected officials.
