Obama school launches holiday gift giving program
gifts sought for Pre-k to 5th-grade students

The Barack H. Obama Elementary School has launched their annual Holiday Gift Giving Program.
Created 10 years ago, the program is designed to help the school district serve the needs of its under-privileged population.
The program asks local businesses and corporations to assist in providing gifts for the Pre-k through 5th grade students.
Principal Kathy Baumgardner estimates there are approximately 80 students in need, 20 per class.
The Holiday Gift Giving Program is scheduled for Dec. 22.
