Two armed men entered a Spruce Avenue home near 8:30 p.m. Sunday and pointed black handguns at the home’s occupants, Ocean Township Police Department spokesman Det. Lt. Kevin Faller said in a news release.

No one was injured but the two suspects had already fled the home when officers responded to home for the armed home invasion report.

Their investigation revealed that the men took personal property from the residents, Faller said.

One suspect is described as a black male, in his mid-twenties, 5’10” in height, wearing a Champion brand hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a black male, also in his mi- twenties, about  6’03” in height, and was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes and a black mask covering his face. Both men were armed with the black handguns

The Township of Ocean Police Department is asking anyone who may have information relating to the robbery contact Detective Michael Legg at (732) 531-1428, the police department tip hotline (732) 531-3323, or e-mail at CrimeTips@oceantwp.org.
