Asbury Park Police Department responded to a stabbing and multiple shots fired Wednesday night, spokesman Michael Casey said.

An unidentified man was stabbed in the forearm near 9:18 p.m. along the 1000 block of Summerfield Avenue, Casey said.

The adult male was found with stab wounds on one of his forearms.

Minutes later, at 9:28 p.m., police were called to a two-story home along Sewall Avenue in response to shots fired.

No victims were found but police did identify evidence of multiple gunfire rounds, some hitting the home.

No arrests have been made and suspects have been identified in both cases.
