A 34-year-old city resident was arrested following Saturday morning’s reported shooting along the 1400 block of Memorial Drive, Asbury Park Police Department spokesman Michael Casey said.

Ramses Frage, a host of the party on the block where gunfire was reported, was found to be wanted on an Ocean County warrant during the investigation, Casey said.

“Officers were called to the 1400 block near 12:59 a.m. for a report of shots being fired,” Casey said.  “When the initial officers arrived they observed a crowd of people fleeing the area.”

Casey said no victims were found and no witnesses at the scene offered any information pertaining to the shooting incident.

Two shell casing were located on the street, he said.

The incident remains under investigation.
