Asbury-Neptune Alliance Hosts Tuesday Trade Orientation
Plumbing & Electrical professionals discuss job qualifications
The Asbury Park Neptune Minister’s Alliance will host an information session for those interested in the plumbing and electrical trades.
Held Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Westside Community Center of Asbury Park, industry professionals will be on hand to discuss what is needed to forge a career in these fields.
The Alliance is a nonprofit organized exclusively for religious, charitable, educational and scientific purposes by members of Asbury Park and Neptune ministries. They work to encourage family cohesiveness, progressive education, economic development, community outreach, cultural awareness and diversity, according to their mission statement.
Recent community meeting have featured panel discussions with the Neptune Police Department and Asbury Park School District Superintendent Lamont Repollet, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Sancha Gray, and Director of Student Services Kristie M. Howard.
Led by Rev. John D. Bradley, its president, the group also awards educational scholarships and nonprofit donations.
The afternoon orientation event will include discussions about the application and trade qualification process.
