NJ Pride kicks off noon Sunday in Asbury Park
Parade runs from Main Street to Festival Grounds at Ocean & 5th
The 25th Annual LGBTI Pride Celebration will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at Fifth and Ocean avenues along the Asbury Park waterfront.
“PRIDE 25 is a rain or shine event,” organizers posted on Facebook Saturday. “There’s lots going on in Asbury Park this weekend. Although, Mother Nature looks like she’s planning to throw us a curve ball . . . if it rains, we may experience some rain delays. But, the show will go on.”
According to AccuWeather forecast, the day will be partly sunny with a high of 73 degrees.
NJ’s Annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersexed Pride Celebration is produced by Jersey Pride, a non-profit organization.
On Sunday morning, organizers said via Facebook, “Plan for an early end to the day’s celebraition.”
