Police in search of four armed robbery suspects
Public asked to help identify suspects
Ocean Township Police are hoping the public will help them capture four black men suspected of robbing an AT&T store on Route 35.
According a news release, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:49 p.m. Tuesday in reference to an armed robbery.
From the news release:
Upon arrival officers located two store employees who claimed that their hands had been bound behind their backs by four men, two of which brandished handguns. The employees, who were led to the back room of the store, were able to free themselves after the accused left the store.
Police officials said suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and store electronics. It is believed that they fled the store in a dark colored sedan, possibly a Mercedes.
