Asbury Park plays host to some of coastal Monmouth County’s best restaurants. One such establishment is Porta (911 Kingsley Street), which specializes in brick oven pizza, vegetarian-friendly pasta and salads. The above photo, taken by Ocean Grove resident Robin Del Maccaro, captures the three old wooden doors that hang just outside the Porta entrance, which say it best:

Eat. Drink. Be Honest.

Del Maccaro tells Asbury Sun: “The colors and simple sage advice of these doors outside Porta caught my eye as we were heading in for lunch. As so often happens to me in Asbury Park, I reached for my camera without skipping a beat.”
