Watermark on the Asbury Park boardwalk will be hosting a voter registration drive from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, owner Russell Lewis has announced.

“If you have not yet registered to vote, or have moved in past 30 days and have not yet registered to vote at your new address, this is your chance before the October 18th deadline for the November 8th election,” Lewis said in his announcement.

Sponsored in part by the Asbury Park Democratic Organization, Lewis said vote by mail applications will be on hand for those unable to make it to the polls on Nov. 8.

Qualified Voters must be:

A United States citizen

At least 17 years old, and understand that you may not vote until reaching the age of 18.

A resident of the county for 30 days before the election

You are NOT currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction

Lewis said plans also are in the works for a second vote drive.

Watermark is located at 800 Ocean Ave.
