Well over 300 turned out for the Asbury Park Police Department’s Community Relations Unit sponsored Halloween Trick or Treat event held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.

Held in conjunction with The Jersey Shore Dream Center and Alphabets Preschool Center, who decorated Council Chambers in all its holiday glory, there were glow sticks, a plethora of candy and stickers for children ages 12 and under.

And for the senior residents, who came in force as a show of support, there was a prize raffle and a bit of treat.
