Editor, Asbury Park Sun,
The A-Team is Back.
The A-Team is back – they just changed their name to “Citizens for Asbury Park.” It’s the same A-Team that falsified a Cory Booker endorsement and plastered it all over town, even after Senator Booker publicly denied it. The same A-Team that ran a messenger ballot scheme that was investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office in 2013, ended up in court in 2013 and 2014 [losing both cases while costing taxpayers thousands], and spurred the State Legislature to change the messenger ballot law. The same A–Team that runs male-dominated tickets [1 woman in 2013 and 2014, no women this year]. The same A-Team that wasn’t transparent about campaign contributions, setting up PACs and super PACs to send out mass mailings full of false personal attacks.
Candidates govern how they campaign. Asbury Park needs diversity, honesty, openness, and professionalism, not more of the A–Team.

Editor, Asbury Park Sun,
I have been a resident of Asbury Park for over twelve years and am the broker owner of a local real estate agency. I love Asbury Park and am proud of the progress we residents have achieved in every corner of our city. To help ensure that this progress continues, I strongly endorse the incumbent ticket, Asbury Together for the City Council election on November 8.
Asbury Together, Quinn, Clayton and Chapman, is a team of diverse women with the experience and track record to keep our entire city moving forward. They, along with Mayor Moor and Councilman Kendle who will remain in office until 2018, have brought transformative improvements and have broad and enthusiastic support among residents, homeowners and business people throughout Asbury. This is a crucial election in Asbury Park. Each vote is important and often a seat is won or lost by just a handful of votes.
Sincerely,
Paul J Vail
