Asbury Together appears winner in City Council Race

Currently 8 out of 9 districts show 2 to 1 victory

Control of the City Asbury Park City Council will remain with the Asbury Together ticket comprised of Amy Quinn, Yvonne Clayton and Eileen Chapman.

Monmouth County Elections reports show the incumbent Asbury Together ticket ahead of challengers Citizens for Asbury Park, with 8 of the nine district reports tabulated.

The incumbents were challenged by Citizens for Asbury Park comprised of Daniel Harris, Kenneth Saunders Jr and Stephen Williams.

The final votes were as follows:

Quinn:  2,084

Clayton: 2,062

Chapman: 1,994

Harris:  960

Williams: 869

Saunders: 981
