Assault at Underage Drinking Party

Nine arrested during Ocean PD 2 a.m. Sunday Investigation

Nine Jackson residents were charged during the investigation of a reported assault at a South Lincoln Avenue home Sunday where an underage drinking party was underway, according to an Ocean Township Police Department news release.

When responding Officer Christopher Brady arrived on the scene near 2:06 a.m., he found a 19-year old male with injuries consistent with being assaulted, officials said.

During the onsite investigation, partygoer Dominic Regina, 19, of Jackson was charged with aggravated assault and Ryan Pollina, 19, of Jackson was arrested for hosting the underage drinking party. They were released from custody, pending a future court appearance.

Oakhurst First Aid attended to the victim, who sustained several significant injuries to the head, officials said. He was treated and released from an area hospital.

Brady was assisted by officers Alon Bercovicz, Steven Walker Brendan Bernhard, Glennis Polanco, Sgt. Mark Del Tin, and Detectives Jesse Orbach and Raheem Carter.

The following partygoers were charged with consuming alcohol under the legal age while on private property:

Michael Healy – 20 year old male from Jackson

Michael McKenzie – 20 year old male from Jackson

Raymond Galindo – 20 year old male from Jackson

Sierra Pollina – 19 year old female from Jackson

Jordan Billups – 19 year old male from Jackson

Gregory Basilotto – 20 year old male from Jackson

Daniel Serreino – 20 year old male from Jackson
