Sackman Proposes Urban Farm Grocery Store for downtown Asbury
High Rise project also includes 570 space parking garage and 97 residential units
Sackman Enterprises will introduce design plans to construct an urban farm grocery store at its current parking lot on Mattison Avenue during Monday’s 6 p.m. Asbury Park City Council meeting.
The site sits between Bond and Emory streets, Bangs and Mattison avenues.
Enveloped by a proposed mixed use high rise, conceptual plans include reconfiguring the existing parking lot into a mixed use high rise complex, complete with the 15,771 square foot grocery store with a loading area along Bond Street.
The multi level parking garage will allow for a total of 570 spaces on six floors.
There are 97 residential units proposed, consisting of studio, one and two bedroom options complete the plans.
Other features, according to online design renderings, include two common terrace spaces, a clubhouse, on site laundry, and a gymnasium.
A proposed living green wall façade will shield the parking garage along Bangs Avenue.
