The Asbury Park City Council will meet Wednesday in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 1 Municipal Plaza.

A 4 p.m. Executive Session precedes the 6 p.m. Workshop. The Regular Session meeting begins at 7 p.m.Public participation will take place at the beginning of the regular meeting.

Items on the agenda include:

• Executive session discussion on contract negotiations pertaining to the Waterfront Redevelopment Agreement amendments and property transfer proposals with the Michaels Group and Interfaith Neighbors.

• The City Council will also discuss a table of organization for the Police Department, the Police Director Position and Court Personnel.

• During the 6 p.m. Workshop Session, a Payment in lieu of Parking ordinance, a resolution recognizing School Board Recognition Week, Personnel Policy amendments, and the 2017 Capital Program will be discussed.

• The Regular Session meeting will include a recognition of the Asbury Park High School 2016 Varsity Soccer Team, special events, the appointments of professional service consultants, and city rights of way usage.

• The City Council will also cast the first of two required votes for adding two seats to the Sunset Lake Commission.
