Democratic Meet And Greet
Candidates running in the 2017 election will be on hand 7 p.m. at Porta
The Asbury Park Democratic Organization will host a special Meet & Greet event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 27th at Porta, located at 911 Kingsley Ave.
The event is being held to help voters learn how they can get involved, and will feature volunteer opportunities, voter registration and networking, organizers said.
Sponsored by the Monmouth County Democrats, November 2017 candidates will be on hand. They include State Senate candidate Vin Gopal, State Assembly incumbents Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey, and Monmouth County Freeholder candidates Brian Wilton and Margie Donlon.
