Motor Vehicle Stop Leads To Resident’s Incarceration: Woman, 20, Arrested on Drug Possession and Credit Card Theft
An Ocean Township resident landed in Monmouth County Jail Wednesday after a follow up investigation into drug possession and credit card theft found during a motor vehicle stop last week, Ocean Township Police Department officials said.
Briana Ogle, 20, was originally charged with hindering apprehension, obstruction, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes and possession of stolen a credit card but new charges of two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and drug paraphernalia possession were added this week, officials said.
After police conducted a traffic stop along Route 35 on March 27, Ogle was arrested for hindering her apprehension when she attempted to provide a false name to a detectives. A further investigation revealed that she was in possession of drug paraphernalia, stolen property and had a warrant for her arrest issued by the Neptune Township. Ogle was released on a summons, pending a future court appearance.
But on April 5, a follow up investigation revealed that Ogle attempted to use the stolen credit card on two occasions in Neptune Township. Ogle was found at a local motel and arrested. During the second arrest she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ogle was remanded to Monmouth County Jail where she’ll remain until a first court appearance, officials said.

Tinton Falls Woman Arrested for Assault by Auto: Investigation into three vehicle crash revealed alcohol was involved
A Tinton Falls woman was taken into custody Wednesday evening following a three vehicle crash along Asbury Avenue, Ocean Township Police Department officials said.
Linda Siciliano, 55, was charged with driving while intoxicated and two counts of assault by auto, officials said.
Police responded near 9:22 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a three car crash on Asbury Avenue near Worth Avenue. It was revealed that Siciliano had been consuming alcohol prior to the crash. She was arrested at the scene, officials said.
One motorists was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Although the third driver sustained injuries, they denied transport to a hospital, officials said.
Siciliano, who was not injured, was released on a summons pending a future court appearance.
Officers involved included Ptl. Nicholas Castellano, Sgt. Timothy Macom, Dt. Gregory Martone and Dt. Sgt. Patrick Martin.
Underage Alcohol Arrest: Two caught in action at local liquor store
Two women were arrested in relation to underage alcohol purchase at a local liquor store on Monmouth Road Thursday.
Stephanie Huff, 22, of Green Brook was charged with providing alcohol to a minor and Natalie Bisono, 19, of Danbury, Conn. was charged with underage possession of alcohol, officials said.
Police officers assigned to a Cops in Shops detail at a liquor store on Monmouth Road observed a Huff purchase alcohol after she was given money by Bisono. The state funded detail is designed to combat underage purchase of alcohol, officials said.
Detectives made contact with both females and it was determined Huff purchased alcohol for Bisono. Both females were arrested and transported to Ocean Township PD where they were processed and charged.
Both women were released on summons pending an initial appearance at Ocean Township Municipal Court.
Detectives Michael Melody and Christopher Brady were the investigating officers.
Burglary Arrest: Warrant arrest leads to theft charges
An 18-year-old resident faces charges in connection with a series of reported burglaries, Ocean Township Police officials said.
Marlone Dasme, 18, is charged with two counts of motor vehicle burglary, one count of burglary to a residence, one count of trespassing, one count of theft, and one count of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, officials said.
A series of March motor vehicle and apartment burglaries were under investigation when police arrested Dasme Thursday on an outstanding criminal warrant. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Dasme was in possession of a stolen Kindle Fire tablet that belonged to a female acquaintance.
Further investigation revealed Dasme was responsible for the two motor vehicle burglaries, a burglary in Twinbrook Village, and trespassing in an abandoned apartment on Willow Drive in Continental Gardens.
Dasme was remanded to Monmouth County Jail where he awaits a retention hearing.

Theft Arrest: Suspect returned stolen items for cash
A Haledon man was arrested Thursday on a criminal warrant in connection with stolen Xbox accessories he returned for cash on Sept. 2 at Game Stop on Route 66, according to Ocean Township Police Department.
Amir Elfki, 24, was charged with shoplifting, possession of stolen property and theft by deception, officials said.
The police investigation revealed Elfki shoplifted approximately $160.00 of Xbox Accessories item from the store, later returning them for cash utilizing a false identification.
A criminal warrant was issued and Elfki was arrested in Haledon Thursday and transported back to Ocean Township Police Department.
Elfki was remanded to Monmouth County Jail where he awaits a retention hearing.
