Chamber Hosts Monday Morning Breakfast Club At VFW
Incumbent Republican Senator Jennifer Beck Guest Speaker
State Senator Jennifer Beck will be the guest speaker during the 9 a.m. Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Club meeting.
Free and open to the public, the event will be held at VFW Harold Daley Post 1333, located at 701 Lake Ave.
The event will also include an update of Chamber events by Director Sylvia Sylvia-Cioffi.
Beck, a Red Bank resident, is the incumbent candidate being challenged in the 2017 election by former Monmouth County Democrat Chair Vin Gopal.
Beck has served, since 2008, the 11th Senate district comprised of Allenhurst; Asbury Park; Colts Neck; Deal; Eatontown; Freehold Borough; Freehold Township; Interlaken; Loch Arbour; Long Branch; Neptune City; Neptune Township; Ocean Township; Red Bank; Shrewsbury Borough; Shrewsbury Township; Tinton Falls; and West Long Branch.
Prior to her Senate seat, Beck served one term in the Assembly and two terms on the Red Bank Borough Council.
Beck is President of JAB Marketing, a media relations and marketing firm, trustee with the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, a member of the Red Bank Woman’s Club, and formerly served as a rape crisis counselor for 180/Turning Lives Around.
