Body found in Ocean Township woods identified
No foul play suspected in cause of death
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office has released the identity of a man found dead Saturday in a wooded area adjacent to the Twin Brooks Village apartment complex.
“The investigation and autopsy determined the 35 year old man is Antonio Valencia Marcos, of Ocean Township,” the news release said. “The death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature.”
According to a written news statement, the Ocean Township Police department responded near 5:39 p.m. Saturday to an emergency call in reference to the deceased male.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office were called in to assist.
