Ocean PD & Oakhurst EMS Deliver Baby Girl Overnight
Mom and Daughter transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center

A 3:26 a.m. call to a West Park Avenue home resulted in Ocean Township police helping in the delivery of a healthy baby girl, according to a news release.
Officials said Police Officer Thomas Rant assessed the mother who was having contractions approximately one minute apart.
The Oakhurst First Aid arrived along with additional police officers who assisted with the delivery of a baby girl.
Both mom and baby were transported to Monmouth Medical Center for further medical care, officials said.
Police Officers Kevin Donohoe, Phil Jackson and Sgt. Paul Flammia assisted.
