Coined Black Friday Iced Tea and Holiday Market, weekend ice skating launches Friday at The Asbury.

The free launch event features a noon to 4 p.m. performance by The Audra Mariel Jazz Ensemble, followed by DJ Tyler Valentine’s sounds from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be holiday market vendors on hand, and a food truck offering seasonal snacks and beverages, like s’mores, mulled wine, and hot cocoa. There will be a full cash bar, organizers said.

Proceeds from the launch party will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County and Tomorrows Children’s Fund, a Hackensack based nonprofit aimed at helping children diagnosed with cancer and serious blood disorders.

Also running through the weekend will be the hotel and entertainment venue’s Christmas Tree Market. Trees will be sold while supplies last through Nov. 26. Boys and Girls Club members will assist in finding that perfect tree and delivering it to a vehicle, organizers said.

The ice skating rink is located in the pool area of the hotel. Its seasonal hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
