The Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest returns in Asbury Park.

The Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce sponsored business window decorating contest will be judged from Dec 8 to 13 by a panel of judges, Chamber officials announced in a written statement. Winners will be announced Dec 18.

Six prizes will be given in two categories: large window – over 35 feet, and small window – under 35 feet. Judging will be based on the creation of a holiday mood, reflection of a theme or story, creativity and overall design.

Prizes include complimentary admission for two at a Chamber Business Card Exchange event and $50 restaurant gift certificates.

In related news, the Chamber will host a holiday party from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec 11 at Jimmy’s Italian Restaurant, located 1405 Asbury Ave.

The event features a buffet dinner, cash bar and music by the Wright Trio. Tickets are $45 at the door, $40 in advance via the eventbrite.com page.
