The Hotel Tides will spotlight its staff’s other talents during the return of group art exhibit, running Jan 7 to Feb 18, General Manager Ryan Jimenez announced.
“I have worked with these individuals for years; not only are they great employees, but they are all very talented,” Jimenez said. “I am proud and honored to make this an annual tradition where we get to share with our community our various skills. This is a true reflection of what Asbury has to offer.”
Hotel Tides Employee Group Show 2.0 features the artwork of server Chris Lopa, front desk agents Myke Karlowski and Stacey Savage, as well as bartenders Hannah Connors and Joy Vay, Jimenez said.
Karlowski is an artist who has shown throughout the tri-state area and studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Lopa has exhibited his work in Europe as well as the United States.
Savage has an innate talent for drawing.
Connors studied photography at Parsons University in NYC.
And, Vay has studied fashion and is the lead singer of her band, TV Tramps.
An opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan 12. The Hotel Tides is located at 408 Seventh Ave.
