Sea Bright Man, 32, Arrested For Drug Possession
Deal PD: Charges Include Resisting Arrest, Heroin And Cocaine Possession
A Sea Bright resident is facing drug possession charges after a failed attempt to enter a Poplar Avenue home on New Year’s Day, Deal Police Department announced via a new statement.
Kyle Manger, 32, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, failure to turn over a controlled dangerous substance to police, and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said.
The police department was called to the Poplar Avenue home for a report of an unwanted party throwing things and attempting to gain entry. When officers arrived, the accused was in the rear of residence.
During their investigation, Manger attempted to flee and resisted arrest, officials said. He was found to be in possession of the controlled dangerous substances and drug paraphernalia.
Manger was remanded to Monmouth County Jail, pending a court date. Sgt Brian Egan and Patrolmen Dan Lokerson and Jeff Kless investigated.
