Asbury Park’s city council will meet tonight in council chambers, with a closed executive session starting at 5 p.m.; a workshop session at 6 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include:
• A vote on the person-to-person and place-to-place transfer of a liquor license from local restaurateur Marilyn Schlossbach to Kyle LePree et al. for 601 Bangs Ave. The transfer vote was scheduled for the last council meeting on Sept. 5 but was postponed.
• An application for extensions of premises for Fish and Johnnie Mac’s for events in October.
• Discussion of a cable advisory committee to oversee the broadcast of council meetings.
• A report from Don Stine of the Asbury Park Historical Society about the ground penetration radar sweep that took place north of Convention Hall last Saturday, Sept. 15.
• Discussions of contract negotiations with Sackman Enterprises, LiveNation, Madison Asbury Retail and iStar Financial in closed session at 5 p.m.
