An ongoing investigation into prostitution at the ABC Spa on Rt. 35 has yielded a number of arrest, Ocean Township Police Department announced in a written statement.

In Sook Kim, 47, of Palisades Park was charged with promoting and engaging in prostitution and maintaining a house of prostitution. Meihua Cui, 39, of Flushing, NY, was charged promoting and maintaining a house of prostitution.

During the Monday execution of a search warrant, a 55-year-old Avon man was charged with engaging in prostitution. His name was not released by officials.

Four other men were charged with engaging in prostitution during the ongoing investigation. They include the Jan 16 arrest of a 70-year-old Ocean Township man and a 35-year-old Long Branch man, and the Jan 17 arrest of a 50-year-old Ocean Township man and a 46-year-old Little Silver man. Their names were not released by officials.

All were released on criminal summons, pending a future court appearance. The arrests were made by members of the department’s criminal investigation bureau.
