Asbury Park Restaurant Tour Tickets Now On Sale
Chamber of Commerce Annual Sold Out Event Will Feature Student Tour Ambassadors At The Over 25 Participating Venues
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Chamber of Commerce sponsored Asbury Park Restaurant Tour.
Being held from noon to 4 p.m. April 29 at over 25 eateries throughout the 1.4 square mile city, the well-known sold-out event features best of fare small bite offerings, samplings and demos.
Along the way, look out for the Restaurant Tour Ambassadors, Asbury Park High School students paired with merchant volunteers to help make the guest experience run smoothly, Chamber Executive Director Sylvia Sylvia-Cioffi said.
“Genise Hughes and Kay Harris have been doing this with the Chamber for a number of years,” she said. “These kids are amazing. Their commitment is unbelievable.”
Free transportation will be provided for this rain or shine event. The trolley will make a loop throughout the downtown, waterfront and Main Street participating venues.
A check-in tent will be stationed beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Press Plaza, located at the corner of Cookman Avenue and Emory Street. Tour guests can pick up pre-purchased wristbands along with a tasting guide and maps of participating sites, including offers from local merchants, Sylvia-Cioffi said. Proper ID and presale receipts are required.
Advance tickets are $40, available via 732-775-7676, info@asburyparkchamber.com and the Chamber website. All tickets are non-refundable, and not able to be exchanged.
