The eastbound lane of Cookman Avenue between Main and Bond streets will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, according to an alert from the Asbury Park Police Department.

According to officials, road construction work will also prohibit parking along the south side of the corridor.

Access to Cookman Avenue outside of the shuttered block can be made from Lake and Mattison avenues to Bond Street.

Other street closures for ongoing infrastructure repairs include:

Springwood Avenue between Memorial Drive and Main Street [24/7]

Fourth Avenue between Memorial Drive and Ridge Avenue [blocks changing daily]

Asbury Avenue between Memorial Drive and Ridge Avenue [ with work being conducted on the side of road; no lengthy closures are expected]
