AP Beach Bonfires Return 7 p.m. Friday

Weekly Community Event Runs Through September

The weekly bonfires along the Asbury Park beaches return 7 p.m. Friday on the Fifth Avenue beach in front of Beach Bar, according to apboardwalk.com.

Running through September, the popular community event is held at various beaches along the waterfront, weather permitting. They are held 7 p.m. Fridays through May and June, 8 p.m. Wednesdays in July and August, and return to 7 p.m. Fridays in September.

There is no bonfire during the Fourth of July fireworks, sponsored by iStar.

18-May BEACH BAR – 5TH AVENUE

25-May THE ANCHOR’S BEND – SUNSET AVE

1-Jun THE ANCHOR’S BEND – SUNSET AVE

8-Jun BEACH BAR – 5TH AVENUE

15-Jun THE ANCHOR’S BEND – SUNSET AVE

22-Jun BEACH BAR – 5TH AVENUE

29-Jun THE ANCHOR’S BEND – SUNSET AVE
