Fitness in the Park will launch 11 am to 1 pm Saturday in Sunset Park, located on Main Street between Fifth and Sunset avenues, city officials have announced.

The Mayor’s Wellness Committee event is cosponsored by the Sunset Lake Park Conservancy, with funding provided by the NJ Prevention Network.

Aimed at offering fun and fitness for the entire family, the event will feature volleyball, relay races, jump roping, hula hooping, music and a few giveaways.

Organizers said all ages and abilities are welcome.

The Committee is currently hosting 6 .m. Yoga in Park prior to the Monday night Asbury Park Music Foundation Summer Concert Series.
