Applications are now available for the soon to open Dollar Tree, located on Main Street at the northwest corner of Third Avenue, Councilwoman Yvonne Clayton has announced.

The over 10,000-square-foot national chain store will give priority to local residents through a workforce development agreement.

The project approval detailed off-street parking, benches, public garbage and recycling containers, bicycle racks, and a 9’x 65’ mural wall along the Third Avenue façade.

Fasano entered into a 22 year lease agreement with Dollar Tree and has said 30 jobs will be created, with tax revenue expected to rise from its current anticipated $350,000 collection over the next 22 years to $600,000.

Clayton said applications are available in the City Hall reception and that three shifts are open for hire. The applications must be returned by July 31. Those seeking management positions must apply online via the company’s website.
