Asbury Artist Charles Trott Pays Tribute To Women’s History

City artist Charles Trott pays tribute to Women’s History Month with  Women Warriors, an art exhibit running from 2 to 7 pm today at the Asbury Park Public Library, located at 500 First Ave.

The show is a part of the Asbury Park native’s Diasporic Images of Africa [DIA] project.

“This project addresses Africa’s relationship to countries and cultures worldwide,” Trott said in a written statement. “Visual art and the teachings of authors seldom featured in the curriculum’s of our public schools is used to tell our story.”

The exhibit runs from 2 to 7 pm Tuesday, with a presentation from the artist beginning at 6 pm in the Bradley Room of the Asbury Park Public Library.
