Hoagitos Flagship Pop Up Will Not Return to AP Boardwalk
Gourmet Mini Sandwich Shop Will Offer Local Delivery from Belmar Location
Hoagitos owners Mark and Emma Spagnuola have announced their flagship Third Avenue pop up on the Asbury Park boardwalk will not open this summer.
Known for their gourmet take of traditional sandwiches in mini form, Hoagitos opened a year-round location inside Belmar Plaza in 2016.
“Hoagitos will not be opening its Asbury Park location for the 2019 summer,” Emma Spagnuola said in a written statement. “We are so immensely grateful to our fans and customers in Asbury Park, and we are so thankful for the six amazing summers that we were able to spend on the boardwalk.”
The couple will focus their attention on the Belmar location; which will offer delivery to Asbury Park.
“As with everything though, it is time for us to grow, and we are excited to be taking the time to focus on our thriving year-round Belmar location which offers us the space we need to experiment with new food concepts and produce exciting and delicious twists that our customers expect from us,” Spagnuola said. “We truly believe that we will be able to better serve all of our customers by making this move, and we are excited for what this means for the future. Look out for some exciting announcements over the summer.”
Hoagitos is located at 807 Belmar Plaza. They are open from 11 am to 8 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 8 pm Friday to Sunday. Their menu, catering options, and event listings are available via the website at hoagitos.com.
