Annual City Wide Yard Sale Returns 9 am to 3 pm Saturday
Donations Will Be Collected For Rescue Ridge And Wag On Inn
One man’s trash is another’s treasure may be the idiom behind the Annual Asbury Park City Wide Yard Sale returning this weekend but in the end – it’s all about supporting our four-legged friends, organizers Sonja O’Brien and Connie Breech have said.
The event hosts say a portion of the day’s sales will support Rescue Ridge and Wag On Inn animal rescue nonprofits. The over 35-year long event has been known to raise $3,000 in donations and close to $1,000 worth of pet supplies.
This year, the event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and features over 30 yard sales across the city. Maps [shown below] will be available at 1104 Fifth Avenue.*
Donations of pet carriers, pet toys, unopened pet food, blankets, towels, doggie beds, and leashes, will also be collected at the Fifth Avenue location.
